Masters in Social Work

The M.S.W. program prepares professionals to enter and lead in advanced social work practice using best available evidence. The Augsburg Master of Social Work program is a program of distinction and quality, fully accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE). Our purpose is to prepare social work students for advanced, professional practice in public and non-profit agency settings. Our mission is to develop social workers for practice that promotes social justice and empowerment toward the wellbeing of people in a diverse and global society. The average class size ranges from 10 to 25. The school has two main tracks for students: Multicultural Clinical Practice (MCCP) or Program Development, Policy, and Administration (PDPA).
